TalkTalk have launched an exclusive offer to Tiscali customers who switch to TalkTalk. Any Tiscali customers who make the switch will receive £50 off their bill.
The move comes as there is speculation about Tiscali’s financial stability and if they will be able to continue running with the debts they have, (Read: Tiscali broadband customers could find broadband switched off) this move from TalkTalk is like giving Tiscali broadband a kick in the face when they are already down!
The £50 credit comes in the form of those who switch receiving 3 months free on their Essentials Phone and Broadband package (£6.49 per month) and free connection (usually £29.99).
All the customers will need to pay is the £11.25 line rental per month. After the 3 months free broadband customers will pay just £17.74 per month for the Essential package and line rental.
The broadband on offer will give customers:
- Up to 8Mb broadband speed
- 40Gb download limit
- Free wireless router
- Free technical support (from a TalkTalk line)
The Phone part of the deal will give customers Unlimited phone calls to:
- UK landline and evenings 7 weekends
- Millions of TalkTalk customers
- Free local daytime calls (from 1st May 2009)
Any Tiscali switchers who take up the offer will have to sign up for an 18 month contract to TalkTalk and the offer runs exclusively to Tiscali switchers until 30th April 2009.
