BT Wholesale cut Prodigy Internet's service and customers are sent to a Walled Garden to get MAC codes
Prodigy Internet customers are going to find that they are greeted with a "walled garden" page when they try to connect to the internet as BT Wholesale and Ofcom have both been unable to contact Prodigy Internet and have taken their service offline.
The Walled Garden page will inform customers how to cease their service or how to get a MAC (Migration Authority Code) so they can swap to another broadband provider.
Some reasons that have been spoken about are that Prodigy Internet they are experiencing financial problems which could be the reason for the problems customers are now facing.
In the past Prodigy Internet have been fined £30,000 by Ofcom for how it has dealt with migrating broadband customers.
