iPhone to get Unlimited internet data transfer with O2
6th November 2007
The hugely anticipated Apple iPhone is due to be launched in the UK this Friday 9th November and it is currently exclusive to O2 for a price of £269.
Anyone who buys it will be able to get truly unlimited Internet data transfer as O2 have decided to get rid of the "Fair Use Policy" that it was originally going to be adding.
What is going to cause confusion is that other "Unlimited" deals O2 have contain a Fair Usage Policy and having one rule for one set of customers over another is unlikely to make things clearer!
According to The Register, who put this issue to O2, they were told that the fair use policy on other deals is currently being reviewed.
What we would really embrace is if O2 then take this stance on unlimited really meaning unlimited over to it's O2 Broadband as it’s an issue that is quite important in the broadband market.
