Mobile phone provider The Carphone Warehouse is reportedly due to announce they are going to enter the broadband market with an offer of free broadband!
More details about the proposed offer are expected to be announced tomorrow (11th April). The free broadband offer from the Carphone Warehouse is likely to be tied in and offered to customers who use their Talk Talk phone service.
The move is likely to create a price war amongst broadband providers such as Wanadoo, BT broadband,AOL & NTL as they all strive to offer the best prices to consumers.
Only last week we announced that there are reports that Sky will offer their own broadband service later this year and that could possibly be a free broadband service for customers who also use other Sky services. Sky already offer a Sky by Broadband service!
