Virgin Media's last quarter results that were released last week showed an increase of 115,800 new cable customers, up from 45,800 the previous quarter.
This has taken their number of cable broadband subscribers to 3.3 million.
They also added 7,000 new ADSL subscribers that takes their total to 282,300.
This makes Virgin Media the largest residential broadband provider in the UK.
