Tiscali have been the latest broadband provider to set up a deal with Setanta that will mean that Tiscali TV will be able to show the live Premiership football that Setanta won the rights to show.
BT, Virgin Media & TalkTalk already have deals set up with Setanta that will allow them to show live Premiership football after Setanta won the rights to screen 46 live games this season and breaking Skys monopoly of having all the games.
Tiscali also have secured a deal with Sky back in July that allows them to show Skys basic channels, such as Sky One, Sky Two, Sky Three, Sky Arts, Sky Travel, Sky News and Sky Sports News. These are the very same channels that Virgin Media lost the rights to show as the rivalry between the two providers heats up.
Tiscali are the UK's fourth biggest broadband provider who last month bought rival broadband & voice provider Pipex in a deal worth £210 million.
