Sky Broadband Max removes "Fair Use Policy"

16th September 2008

The Fair Usage Policy for Sky Broadband Max has been removed

Sky Broadband has removed the Fair Use Policy from its Sky Broadband Max product which offers broadband speeds of up to 16Mb as they use their own LLU equipment.
This means that Sky can offer a "truly unlimited" service and is effective for both existing and new Sky Broadband Max customers only.

Sky Broadband Max removes Fair Use PolicyUsers can get Sky Broadband Max for £10 per month if they take it as part of a Sky TV bundle.

It will be interesting to see if other broadband providers follow suit and remove their own "Fair Use Policy" that most have in order to protect themselves against the very high users who can use up the majority of the bandwidth that they have available!
