With the results it is worth knowing that although Sweden top the chart their cheapest always on broadband connection is with 256KB connection while others have a minimum of 1MB.
The report also found that countries that were using Fibre networks had the best speeds and the lowest prices, with countries such as Japan, Sweden, Korea and Finland having broadband connections available of over 100MB!
The UK has speeds available of up to 24MB with ADSL2+ technology with some LLU operators such as BE Broadband. Other LLU operators such as Orange and Bulldog have ADSL2+ technology installed too although they have lower download speed caps currently set.
