TalkTalk free broadband gets 5 times the expected interest

The Carphone Warehouse have said that the take up of the " free broadband" offer that they announced last week (“Carphone Warehouse launch free broadband with Talk Talk”) was 5 times higher than they had expected.
25,000 customers are reportedly to have signed up within a couple of days of the launch.
The offer gives customer’s unlimited calls to UK landlines and 28 international countries, up to 8MB free broadband and line rental for just £20.99 per month with a one off connection fee of £29.99.
This demand for the Talk Talk offer will surely get the other broadband providers thinking as it shows a good indication of what the UK public like.
