The Post Office has had enough of their strikes for the time being and have launched in to the UK broadband market with 4 broadband offers.
The Post Office broadband on offer is a "white label" of BT products and is being managed by BT so they have a solid network that they will be able to use.
"Broadband Standard" costs £15.95 per month and comes with speeds up to 8MB and a 5GB download limit. Also included is a modem and a basic email and anti-virus.
"Broadband Extra" costs £20.95 per month and comes with speeds up to 8MB and an unlimited download limit (fair use policy applies). Also included is a wireless router and a enhanced PC security suite.
For an extra £5 per month each deal can have "HomePhone" added which offers free evening and weekend calls (local/national calls) and the line rental is included in the monthly fee. All 4 deals come with a 12 month contract.
With all that is going on with Royal Mail & the Post Office strikes the timing to launch a new product to the UK couldn't have been timed much worse but obviously with BT managing it we can rest assured that their broadband service shouldn't be affected by any future strike action which would result in our emails not being delivered...
