O2 buy up The Link for £30m

O2 have today announced they are buying The Link for £30m, this comes the day after O2 bought BE Broadband for £50m.

The Link stores could be used to push O2 broadbandThe move is likely to widen the area and number of people that O2 can sell combined deals to including offering broadband and internet services.

O2 buy The LinkThe Carphone Warehouse already have high street shops across the UK so this move means that O2 can utilise the 300 high street The Link shops in their push to rival the offerings from The Carphone Warehouse.
