3 launches mobile broadband for £10 per month

23rd August 2007

3 (Three) Mobile are set to launch mobile broadband on their new Turbo 3G network.
3 Mobile Broadband will allow users to be able to download at speeds of up to 2.8MB, and on roll-out which is set for the 4th September 2007 there will be 50% coverage of the UK with this expected to rise to 85% coverage by December!

There will be three tariffs available to customers, a 1GB bandwidth limit for £10 per month, 3GB for £15 or a 7GB for £25.

A USB dongle will be required to be plugged into the laptop or PC, with this being free on some of the deals or costing up to £99 on others.
Currently the 3 website is showing 12 and 18 month contracts are likely to be offered.

More specific details about the deals will be published when we have them.
