BT Broadband has sent letters out to over 3000 of it's own broadband customers in a bid to stop these users excessively using the service that BT offers.
The letters have been sent out to customers who are regularly using upwards of 100GB and more per month.
BT say that those customers who only occasionally use too much bandwidth should not be targeted and only those who are ignoring the "fair usage policy" constantly are going to face any action.
