Bulldog broadband have announced their new "DoubleSpeed" broadband options.
Bulldog are using the ADSL2+ technology to be able to offer these increased double speeds to customers, who from May 2nd 2006 will be able to upgrade their broadband plan to these new speeds.
The DoubleSpeed is not available to all Bulldog broadband customers as the technology has not been enabled in all locations yet.
Customers who want to take up the 16mb broadband will have to pay £5 extra on top of their current bill per month and it is only available to Anytime or Unlimited customers and no the Pay-as-you-go customers.
New customers who join Bulldog before the 15th May can make extra savings as there is an offer to save £5 for up to 2 months when you take out a new Bulldog broadband deal.
This latest increase is another example of how the UK broadband market is hotting up and shows how Bulldog like to be at the front when offering some of the fastest broadband deals.
