Tiscali has appointed Mario Rosso as the new Chief Executive to replace Tommaso Pompei.
There is a chance that this year would be the first year that Tiscali made a profit and reports of this are only going to help raise talk that Tiscali could find itself with new buyers lined up to take over it.
Preliminary figures for 2007 show that Tiscali Groups revenues grew by 34% last year.
Reuters reported that Fastweb (from Italy), Vodafone & BT are possible interested parties although there is no official word on this.
Tiscali are also the owners of Pipex broadband and voice customers after buying them last year for £210 million.
Any more details about a possible buy out will likely come when the Tiscali Groups official statement for their results last year are officially announced.
