NTL has taken over Virgin mobile in a move that will mean that NTL can increase their "triple play" services to "Quad Play". This means that not only will NTL be able to offer its customers Broadband, cable television and telephone services but also mobile telecommunications.
NTL is not well known for having high standards of customer service so the take-over will also take in Virgins customers care approach of actually trying to keep customers happy.
The near £1 billion take-over gives NTL 30 years of using the Virgin mobile brand.
